In response to House Bill 1 of the 2018 Second Extraordinary Legislative Session, LDH is required to publish a monthly report to the Joint Legislative Committee detailing the progress made in the implementation of Medicaid reform.

This report is submitted in response to House Concurrent Resolution 65 (HCR 65) of the 2018 Regular Legislative Session, which requires the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) to study potential implementation of mandatory case management for Medicaid enrollees identified as high-risk due to either health status or socioeconomic factors, for the purpose of improving health outcomes and lowering healthcare costs.
