The Louisiana Department of Health is seeking public input on key strategies to address Louisiana’s opioid epidemic. Over the past month, the Department of Health, in collaboration with local human services agencies, has held public meetings around the state.

The final meeting is set for Wednesday, July 11 in Monroe

The meetings are open to the public, and will give interested residents the opportunity to learn about local and statewide treatment and recovery services.

Town Hall meeting participants are encouraged to share their thoughts, concerns and ideas about how to improve local addiction treatment services.

Residents who have ideas or perspectives to address the opioid epidemic can easily share these ideas that will be used by the Department to further enhance statewide and local strategies to address the crisis at this link: http://ldh.la.gov/OpioidCrisisSurvey
