The Louisiana Department of Health’s Office of Behavioral Health will be holding meetings this coming Tuesday in Bossier City to gather experiences, ideas and concerns about behavioral health services.
These meetings are set for October 1 at the Willis-Knighton Medical Center, 2400 Hospital Drive in Bossier City, in the Women’s Center’s large auditorium next to the ER. The first meeting, aimed at community members and representatives with an interest in mental health and/or substance abuse, will be held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. A separate meeting for healthcare providers will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. If you are in need of sign language interpretation, email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The meetings in Bossier City are part of a larger series of meetings being held throughout the state by the Office of Behavioral Health in late September and early October.
Each stop on Listening Tour 2.0 will allow individuals, community representatives and providers an opportunity to share with state officials their ideas and concerns about their experiences with the behavioral health system.
