If you have not received your Economic Impact Payment (federal stimulus check), you are not alone. About 300,000 Louisianans have not received their stimulus checks.

Considering the substantial impacts and effects of multiple tropical storms/hurricanes on the residents of Louisiana, and the need to coordinate care, services, treatment, and placement for evacuees, Louisiana will allow for the following current relief to ICF/DDs:

Information on relief available to licensed home- and community-based service providers (HBCSP) affected by Hurricane Laura.

The Louisiana Department of Health has requested to withdraw its intent to award contracts to four managed care organizations (MCOs) and if the Commissioner of Administration approves this request, LDH will develop and issue a new Request for Proposals (RFP) for the procurement of state contracts with MCOs to manage health care benefits for Louisiana Medicaid enrollees.

The Louisiana Department of Health submits the attached response to ACT 210 of the 2013 Legislative Session, the Diabetes and Obesity Report to the Senate and House Committees on Health and Welfare, to comply with the provisions of the act.

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) in partnership with Adaptation Health has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for the Louisiana Medicaid Innovation Challenge. The Innovation Challenge supports Louisiana Medicaid by identifying market-ready solutions to engage members through the appropriate use of technology. The RFI has been published to identify innovative solutions to address member communication and engagement.
