The Louisiana Department of Health’s Office of Behavioral Health will be holding meetings on September 30 in Lake Charles to gather experiences, ideas and concerns about behavioral health services.
The first meeting, aimed at community members and representatives with an interest in mental health and/or substance abuse, will be held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. A separate meeting for healthcare providers will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held at The Tower, One Lakeshore Drive in Lake Charles, in the 12th floor conference room. If you are in need of sign language interpretation, email your request to email@example.com.
The meetings in Lake Charles are part of a larger series of meetings being held throughout the state by the Office of Behavioral Health in late September and early October.
Each stop on Listening Tour 2.0 will allow individuals, community representatives and providers an opportunity to share with state officials their ideas and concerns about their experiences with the behavioral health system.
