The Louisiana Department of Health reopened oyster beds in areas 3-25 as of sunrise on Sunday, June 20, 2021. Areas 1 and 2 will remain closed due to effects from Tropical Storm Claudette.

Closed shellfish-growing areas will remain so until state health officials determine the waters are clear and within approved area criteria established by the National Shellfish Sanitation Program.
