Louisiana WIC Breastpump Benefit Program
The Louisiana WIC Program provides breast pumps to mothers needing assistance establishing breast milk, with breastfeeding due to premature and hospitalized infants, other medical or breastfeeding problems, and returning to work or school.
Who is eligible to receive a breast pump?
In order to receive a breastpump, a woman must first be certified by the WIC program as a breastfeeding participant.

What Types of Pumps does the Louisiana WIC Program Provide?
Hospital Grade Pumps are loaned out free of charge to certified WIC moms for the following reasons: Note: The hospital grade electric breastpump is loaned to the WIC mom for a specific period of time and must be returned to the WIC clinic. Only the disposable pumping kit is non returnable. A personal electric breastpump may be given to a certified WIC mom for the following reasons: Note: The personal electric breastpump is for the WIC mom to keep and will not be returned to the WIC clinic A manual or hand pump may be given to a certified WIC mom for the following reasons:
