Influenza Surveillance Reports
LDH Office of Public Health weekly reports on flu activity in Louisiana
Influenza season runs from October through April each year. Below are the reports from influenza season 2019-2020. These reports are issued monthly during influenza season. After the regular flu season ends in April, influenza data is collected and analyzed weekly, but reports are only published monthly from June through September, as long as activity remains low.
CDC does not produce surveillance reports over the summer months, but the influenza surveillance website (www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly) will be updated year-round with limited surveillance data.
