LDH Office of Public Health weekly reports on flu activity in Louisiana

Influenza season is typically from October through May each year. Below are the reports from Influenza Season 2020-2021.  These reports are usually published weekly during the height of influenza season. After the season ends in May, influenza data is still collected and analyzed weekly, but reports are normally published monthly during June through September, as long as activity remains low. Due to recent increases in respiratory virus circulation this surveillance report will be distributed weekly through Summer 2021.

CDC does not produce surveillance reports over the summer months, but the influenza surveillance website (www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly) will be updated year-round with limited surveillance data.
