Mega Survey Now Open!
Sponsored by the Louisiana Department of Health
Response Period: Thursday, March 21st to Friday, April 5th, 2019
The mission of the Louisiana Healthcare-associated Infections and Antibiotic Resistance (HAI/AR) Program is to protect patients by preventing healthcare-associated infections and the proliferation of resistant organisms through surveillance, outbreak response, and promoting infection control and antibiotic stewardship education across the provider spectrum.
We are funded through the CDC Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) Cooperative Agreement (CoA). ELC CoA funds are distributed based on national prevention priorities. August 2019 - July 2020 will mark the first year of the next five-year ELC funding cycle.
We would like your feedback on infection prevention, patient safety, and antibiotic stewardship activities in Louisiana so that we may meet your needs. In order to gauge your feedback, we have designed a Mega Survey which will be open from Thursday, March 21st until Friday, April 5th.
- The estimated completion time for infection preventionists = 18 minutes
- The estimated completion time for all other respondents = 8 minutes
The Mega Survey is being administered via SurveyMonkey. Click here to directly access the survey tool: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LAMegaSurvey2019. We are targeting infection preventionists, laboratorians, infectious disease physicians, and hospital pharmacists; however, you may forward it to your colleagues who feel that they, too, are prevention partners. Questions may be directed to Erica.Washington@la.gov.
