Provider education and training
Immunization recommendations and requirements are always evolving. New vaccines are developed, vaccine recommendations are revised, vaccine shortages occur, new immunization tools are created to improve provider practices, and the school and childcare immunization requirements are updated. The Louisiana Immunization Program offers educational resources and training opportunities to help vaccination providers stay up-to-date on this important information.

This new webinar series launched in 2019 with the goal of increasing adult vaccination awareness among vaccination providers in Louisiana. The series of webinars are held quarterly during lunch in hopes that medical professionals can learn during lunch without affecting their regular clinic duties.Below is information on the webinars previously completed in 2019.
