Each link will give a description of the test provided, the amount of sample needed for testing and any other information and instructions necessary for collection and shipment. Food Testing
Limited food testing is available at the state laboratory. See specific agents for more details.
Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR) testing is not performed directly on food items. At this time PCR is used to identify a limited variety of viable organisms, which have been cultured, from food items. See the list below for more details.
