Food Safety Solutions of the Month Intitiative

There is a need to increase the food industries' and the public's focus on food safety concerns. This project will provide emphasis on one concern at a time. Each month a selected critical violation or aspect of the selected critical violation category will be highlighted.

Expectation of Project:

Raw Meat Over Vegetables
Food Sharing Rolls
Dirty Surfaces

The expectation of this project is to have everyone; the health inspector, the food industry and the public, focusing on one aspect of food safety for an entire month. The expectation is that the act of making everyone aware of the concern and providing a corrective measure and method to change behavior will decrease the risk of the selected food safety issue of the month.
