Quick Links and other Behavioral Health Resources

The Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) manages and delivers the various services and supports necessary to improve the quality of life for citizens with mental illness and addictive disorders. OBH also delivers direct care through hospitalization and has oversight of behavioral health community-based treatment programs through the human services districts and authorities. Services are provided for Medicaid and non-Medicaid eligible populations.

The OBH is dedicated and intentional in its efforts to increase the accessibility and availability of resources to all Louisianans. The information below is intended to assist individuals with finding the most appropriate care and services, as well as fit for their behavioral health needs.
