A LaCHIP Onsite Medicaid Unit is now located at Amite Parish Health Unit, every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The LaCHIP representative will be there to assist anyone wishing to apply for LaCHIP and other Medicaid programs, as well as, assist with existing Medicaid issues.
