EarlySteps Provider Enrollment Information and Materials

Provider materials for EarlySteps, Louisiana's Early Intervention System under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Part C. EarlySteps provides services to families with infants and toddlers aged birth to three years (36 months) who have a medical condition likely to result in a developmental delay, or who have developmental delays. Children with delays in cognitive, motor, vision, hearing, communication, social-emotional, or adaptive development may also be eligible for services.

EarlySteps enrolls providers as independent vendors, rather than employees of the system. Please contact the EarlySteps coordinator in your region for information about enrollment. Please see the required enrollment form list below:

Pay Schedule and Reimbursement


Central Finance Office

EarlySteps uses the services of the Central Finance Office contract agency for its provider enrollment, central directory (service matrix), service authorizations, claims submission, and claims payment functions.
