Bureau of Family Health

The Bureau of Family Health works to promote the health of Louisiana families, from one generation to the next. The Bureau administers the state’s Title V Maternal and Child Health Block Grant program, the Title X Family Planning program, and many other initiatives designed to improve the health of men and women of reproductive age, pregnant women, and families, including children and youth with special healthcare needs.

The Bureau offers a variety of resources and services for Louisiana families, as well as data to support healthcare, social service, and public health professionals in their work.

Mission
