Acadia - CKF Coaltition Meeting

A Louisiana Covering Kids and Families Coalition Meeting, is being held at the Acadia Parish Library on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. anyone intersted in ensuring that Louisiana's kids and their families have a healthy future is welcome to attend.

The goals of the coalition are to ensure all eligible children and adults are enrolled in LaCHIP or Medicaid, educate families and communities about health issues through collaborative partnerships and to increase the number of families who have access to health care.

This month's agenda will include information about Southwest Louisiana Area Health Education Center (SWLAHEC) and its relationship with Louisiana CKF.  There will also be opportunity to network with other like-minded individuals.
