PRIDE of St. Tammany, Inc. (Parents Resource Institute For Drug Education) -

Services include provision of resources for education and prevention of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use. They support communities and families in St. Tammany and Washington Parishes through community awareness campaigns, parenting education, and youth development. Programs include drug education and positive parenting education curriculums.

Youth programs feature summer leadership and life-skills youth camps which teach drug resistance and peer refusal skills to area Jr. High and High school students. PRIDE's youth "Troupe" (a group of 90 area high school students pledged to be drug-free) deliver a "no-use" message targeted to school students in grades 9-12 through music, drama and dance.

Community campaigns are coordinated to educate and raise public awareness of drug prevention programs and help communities to celebrate healthy, drug-free living. PRIDE supports and informs communities about prevention activities and drug updates via newsletter, resource library, print media and trainings.
