The Jefferson Parish Family Preservation and Support Consortium, a coalition of the primary child and family serving agencies of Jefferson Parish, has implemented the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, a research based prevention program for students at Terrytown, Boudreaux, George Cox Elementary Schools and Livaudais Jr. High School.  Olweus Bullying Prevention program is a multilevel, multicomponent school based program designed to prevent or reduce bullying in elementary, middle, and junior high schools by restructuring the existing school environment to reduce opportunities and rewards for bullying.
