The Bayou Health noon provider call, scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, has been cancelled. 

Beginning Wednesday, April 1, Bayou Health will host a provider call every other week. All calls will take place from noon to 1 p.m. The bi-weekly schedule through May is noted below.  Bayou Health may use interim weeks to host topic-specific calls, as needed.  Any changes to the schedule or additional calls will be announced on the provider portal at www.makingmedicaidbetter.com and will be shared with the Bayou Health newsletter e-mail list. We will continue to monitor the need and usefulness of provider calls as one of the many communication channels with DHH and the Bayou Health MCOs. The frequency and topics will depend on the needs of the program and providers participating in the Bayou Health Program.

We encourage providers to contact the MCOs directly for direction and issue resolution. Contacts are available in Informational Bulletin 12-27 . As always, you can submit any unresolved issues or suggestions to bayouhealth@la.gov.
