News Conference to Kick Off Problem Gambling Awareness

SHREVEPORT - At a news conference in Shreveport Monday, March 7, officials with the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals Office of Behavioral Health and The Louisiana Association on Compulsive Gambling will kick off "Problem Gambling Awareness Week" at the Center of Recovery (CORE), one of the nation's premier residential treatment facilities for gambling disorders. DHH representatives will present the Louisiana Association on Compulsive Gambling with Gov. Bobby Jindal's proclamation declaring March 6-12 "Problem Gambling Awareness Week" in Louisiana.
