New Orleans Region Office of Aging and Adult Services gets new Location

BATON ROUGE - The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals' New Orleans Region Office for Aging and Adult Services (OAAS), which houses OAAS Regional Waiver Operations, local Adult Protective Services staff and the Permanent Supportive Housing local lead agency, will have a new address effective Monday, March 21.
The Permanent Supportive Housing office provides housing and support services to low-income individuals with long-term disabilities in Orleans, Plaquemines and St. Bernard parishes. It will move from its current location at 1010 Common Street in New Orleans to 1450 Poydras St., Suite 1488. Walk-in services for Permanent Supportive Housing will be available at this location and by phone at 504-568-2693. Regional Waiver Operations and local Adult Protective Services staff will be located at 1450 Poydras St., Suite 1133. OAAS is also online at www.oaas.dhh.la.gov.
