Louisiana Hospital Association President and CEO Releases Statement on Dramatic Health Care Cuts in HB 1

According to administration officials, actions today regarding HB 1 will result in a significant cut to Medicaid providers in Louisiana. "Hospitals have already been cut by 18% or $230 million annually over the last 2 years. Any additional cuts would devastate our healthcare delivery system by limiting access to care for Louisiana's most vulnerable patients," according to John Matessino, President and CEO of the Louisiana Hospital Association.
