In addition, several providers on the daily noon call have asked for information about reaching Magellan, which operates the Louisiana Behavioral Health Partnership, with questions related to specialized behavioral health care services provided to BAYOU HEALTH members. At providers' request, BAYOU HEALTH has made information about Magellan's weekly provider call, which takes place every Thursday, available on the Providers section of www.MakingMedicaidBetter.com. The details for the call are included below:
Magellan All-Provider Types Weekly Conference Call Every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Dial-In Number - 1-888-205-5513 Participant Pass Code - 827176 Specific problem resolution for individual providers will not be conducted on these calls. For specific problem resolution, providers are encouraged to call the Network Provider Line at 1-800-424-4396. Medicaid staff continue holding a BAYOU HEALTH call for providers each week day from noon until 1 p.m. Representatives from each of the five BAYOU HEALTH Plans also participate in the call to answer questions and address concerns. The toll-free number to call is 1-888-278-0296, and the Access Code is 729-9088#. It is not necessary to pre-register for the call, and any interested provider can participate.
