Be Aware of New Access Code for Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday Provider Calls

Beginning in July, the Bayou Health staff transitioned to a different approach for the daily Bayou Health provider Q & A conference calls so the staff can better address questions specific to various provider types.

Effective for the calls the week of Aug. 6, providers should be aware of a new access code for the calls that take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The provider-type schedule and conference call-in line remain the same.

The conference call schedule by provider type is:

• Monday - Physicians/FQHCs/RHCs
• Tuesday - Other provider types (e.g., home health, DME, therapies, transportation, dental, pharmacy)
• Wednesday - Hospitals

All calls take place between noon and 1 p.m. Pre-registration is not required to participate. The call-in information is:

Thursday's call focuses on specialized behavioral health care services, and is conducted through Magellan on behalf of the Louisiana Behavioral Health Partnership, which manages these services in Medicaid.

All providers and stakeholders are welcome to call in for any of the DHH-hosted calls, but staff leading the calls will focus questions and comments on that day's provider type.
