September 08, 2011 Quality Management Strategy for Implementation of the Louisiana Medicaid Coordinated Care Network (CCN) Program

In accordance with federal specifications, the Department of Health has developed the Quality Management Strategy for implementation of the Louisiana Medicaid Coordinated Care Network (CCN) program.  This document pulls together the quality strategy components detailed in the administrative rules and the request for proposals (RFP) issued for the CCN program and serves to meet the requirements specified by the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 438.202, which requires the development and maintenance of a Medicaid Quality Strategy.

The department is posting this document for a thirty day period to solicit public comment. Persons wishing to comment can complete the QMS-Public Comment form included in this posting and email the form to mary.johnson@la.gov by October 8, 2011. Please enter "QMS - Public Comment" in the subject line of the email.   Comments received will be considered by the department prior to submission of the final document to CMS.
