Senator Troy E. Brown will host a community meeting Tuesday, Aug. 11, to address the recent discovery of the Naegleria Fowleri ameba in the Ascension Consolidated Utility District 1 Water System. The meeting will be held at the George R. Blum Community Center and will begin at 6 p.m. Louisiana Department of Health (DHH) staff will be on hand to update the public and field questions from the community.
