Baton Rouge --- In order to better serve all residents of the parish, the Livingston Parish Medicaid office is moving to a new location.
On Friday, March 16, LDH will move the office from its current location in Denham Springs to 29841 South Magnolia Street in the town of Livingston. On the day of the move, employees will be at available at both locations so there will be no interruption in service for their clients.
LDH Secretary Dr. Fred Cerise said the move to a more centralized location was necessary to make the office more accessible to more of its clients.
“Currently, residents who live in the eastern part of the parish have to drive upwards of an hour to reach the office. The new location is more centrally located, which will make it easier for these residents to reach us,” said Cerise.
