On Saturday, May 19, the American Red Cross will be presenting an information session to educate senior citizens on how to better protect themselves by planning ahead for disasters, such as hurricanes.  The seminar will cover the three steps of being “Red Cross Ready” and techniques to be best prepared in the event of a disaster.

The senior community is invited to attend the information session, which will take place at the John J. Hainkel, Jr. Adult Day Care Center at 612 Henry Clay Ave. in Uptown New Orleans.  The seminar will start at 10 a.m. and is expected to last an hour.  Refreshments will be provided.
