Lakeview Regional Back-to-School Health and Wellness Fair - Northshore

Saturday, July 18, 2009, Lakeview Regional Medical Center will host a "Back to School" Health and Wellness Fair, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.   Children will be provided free immunizations, healthy refreshments, crafts, games, and other fun activities.   Both private and non-profit organizations will be available to provide health education and information to those attending this event.

LaCHIP representatives from both the Department of Health and Hospitals' Medical Vendors Administration and Volunteers of America will be available  to assist anyone wiishing to apply for Medicaid assistance.   There will be a display information about LaCHIP, LaCHIP Affordable Plan, LaMOMs, TAKE CHARGE, Medicare Savings Program, Medicaid Purchase Plan and Family Opportunity Act.
