The Annual Pine Ridge Health Fair will be held on Saturday, August 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year the event will be held at the Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 1005 Perrilloux Street, Hammond. There will health care professionals providing free services such as: Breast and Colerectal Cancer Screening, Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening, and Body Fat Analysis. Other services available are: Car Seat Demonstration, Food Stamp Disaster Registration and LaCHIP, LaCHIP Affordable Plan and other Medicaid Registration.
