Welcome to Region 9 of the Louisiana Department of Health Office of Public Health

The LDH Office of Public Health Region 9 serves the five Northshore parishes in the Southeastern portion of the state: Livingston, St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington.

Our mission is to protect and promote the health and wellness of all individuals and communities in Louisiana. We provide confidential preventive public healthcare and limited clinical services to children and adults of all ages in our parish health units. And, we ensure equitable access to healthcare resources for all individuals and families.
