Board members for the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports assist the program director and oversee creation of activities to promote healthy living and physical fitness for Louisiana residents. Board members also help organize the Louisiana Governor's Games, an annual event in which sports enthusiasts from around the state participate in a variety of athletic competitions.
