BATON ROUGE-This Wednesday, Feb. 16, Department of Health and Hospitals Secretary Bruce D. Greenstein and State Health Officer Jimmy Guidry, M.D., will hold a Medical Directors' Summit at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, giving physicians and medical directors from around the state an opportunity to meet with department leadership and discuss current health issues, trends and topics.
DHH leadership will present information about the state's planned transformation of Medicaid from a strictly fee-for-service system to Coordinated Care Networks; Louisiana Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program; reportable disease processes; and DHH's Birth Outcomes Initiative.
