Calcasieu Parish Health Unit suspends COVID-19 testing, emergency vaccines and community health clinic due to Hurricane Delta

With Hurricane Delta projected to make landfall in Louisiana on Friday, the Region 5 Office of Public Health is suspending some services beginning Thursday, October 8 until further notice.

COVID-19 testing, emergency vaccines and the community health clinic staffed by LSU/Lake Charles Memorial Hospital Family Residency physicians will resume at a later date based on assessments conducted after Hurricane Delta has passed through.

The Calcasieu Parish Health Unit is at 3236 Kirkman St., Lake Charles.
