This week, 652 vaccine providers across the state will receive very limited doses of COVID vaccine. These providers include national and independent pharmacies, public health providers, clinics and physician offices, hospitals and others.
The schedule for COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Region 7 for the week of March 15-19, 2021 is listed below. Region 7 includes the parishes of Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Caliborne, Bienville, Natchitoches, Sabine, DeSoto, Red River. Vaccines are by appointment only for anyone meeting eligibility criteria.

The schedule for COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Region 1 for the week of March 15-19, 2021 is listed below. Region 1 includes the parishes of Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard and Plaquemines. Vaccines are by appointment only for anyone meeting eligibility criteria.
Effective Tuesday, March 9, 2021, the State of Louisiana has expanded eligibility for COVID-19 vaccines to include people who have health conditions that may result in a higher risk of disease.
These providers include 258 chain pharmacies (including 123 Walmarts, 14 Sam's Club and 64 CVS locations from retail pharmacy program), 151 independent pharmacies, 67 hospitals, 41 public health providers, 27 urgent cares, 34 federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), 21 medical practices, 8 rural health clinics (RHCs) and 11 other healthcare providers.
This RFI is issued for the purpose of gathering information from marketing/PR firms, community organizations, photographers, videographers, artists/illustrators, storytellers, website design specialists, marketing/PR firms, and firms with canvassing and phone/text banking experience/expertise (including data analytics/targeting), and organizations/firms with experience/expertise in conducting rapid research especially in underserved communities to help the State (1) continue to raise awareness about COVID-19, its negative impacts and the everyday actions and residents should take to protect themselves and their loved ones, and (2) build awareness, knowledge and trust in the COVID-19 vaccines-particularly among those who have been underserved historically and affected the most by the coronavirus.
OPH Regional Medical Directors worked with community partners and the Louisiana National Guard (LANG) to organize events that start this week and go into next week - a mix of Mass Vaccination Events, large-scale community events, and targeted clinics for teachers who are now eligible.
