Performance Evaluation System to Continuous Performance Management
***IMPORTANT PES INFORMATION*** LDH is entering a transition period for Performance Evaluations. State Civil Service has issued transition rules that will bring state agencies from a paper based Performance Evaluation System (PES) to an electronic Continuous Performance Management (CPM). This transition period will occur between July 1, 2024-December 31, 2024. |
PES Evaluation period |
Supervisors should conduct PES Evaluation sessions, and submit full PES Evaluation document to HR for entry. |
PES Planning period |
LDH will not require new PES Plannings for employees who received a 2023-2024 PES Planning. Supervisors may continue to use the July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024 performance plan and are not required to submit documents to HR. Classified employees, excluding WAEs, appointed during the transition period prior to December 1, 2024 shall receive a PES Planning in accordance with the provisions in Chapter 10 and submit a copy of the first page to HR for entry. |
PES Transition Rating |
Classified employees, excluding WAEs, shall be evaluated beginning December 1 through December 31, 2024. The full original document should be submitted to HR for entry. |
January 2025 | Launch CPM-Continuous Performance Management will launch through SuccessFactors. PES Plannings and Evaluations will now follow a calendar year (January-December annually), and be completed electronically. |
