The Louisiana Highway Safety Commission will hold a news conference at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, at the Lod Cook Alumni Center on the LSU campus to discuss the growing problem of pedestrian safety in Louisiana.

 

Over the last 10 years, more pedestrians than passengers have been killed in motor vehicle crashes in Louisiana. Experts in law enforcement, transportation, fitness and personal safety, and motor vehicle safety will address the issue.
