The Peaceful Rest Baptist Church will host Family and Friends Carnival on Saturday August 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be informational booths, food, fun, and games. The event will be held at 8200 St Vincent Avenue in Shreveport. LaCHIP representatives will on hand to assist with applying for Medicaid benefits.
