BATON ROUGE - Health Fair Minority Cancer Awareness

The Cancer Program of Our Lady of the Lake and Mary Bird Perkins cordially invites you to participate in the 3rd annual comprehensive community health fair in recognition of National Minority Cancer Awareness Week. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bon Carre’ Business Center located at 7359 Florida Blvd.

The event will include free screenings for breast, skin, prostate and colorectal cancers. In addition, we will offer free blood pressure and glucose screenings. There will be something for the entire family including children’s activities.

EBR LaCHIP outreach team will be on hand to provide information regarding our various health insurance programs and to assist anyone who wish to apply for benefits. There will also be free promotional items for everyone.
