Alexandria: Provine Mardi Gras Parade

The Rapides Medicaid Office will participate in the 16th annual Provine Mardi Gras parade on Tuesday, February 16, 2010.  The parade begins at 2:30 p.m. and will travel down Highway 28 West.  Promotional items will be tossed along the parade route.  Visit with any Medicaid rep on-hand that day to obtain information about health insurance programs available to Louisiana residents, including LaCHIP, Medicare Savings Program, and LaMoms for pregnant women.  The Rapides Medicaid office is located at 1505 Washington Street in Alexandria, with business hours from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.  Go to www.lachip.org to find out more information on Louisiana's Medicaid programs and to complete an application online.
