If the USDA, who administers the SNAP program, is prepared and ready to move money into states’ accounts this evening, we will use federal dollars to fund SNAP recipients’ accounts. If they are not ready, LDH will proceed with our state-funded program to provide food assistance to the elderly, the disabled, and households with children through their existing EBT cards.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana, - 1. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified proposers that provide and manage electronic visit verification (EVV) system for home and community-based services.
2. A contract is necessary to prevent inappropriate billing/payment, safeguard against fraud, improve program oversight, improve billing efficiency, and enhance quality through an electronic visit verification system.
