January 15, 2015 DHH to Host Thursday EVV Webinar for Providers

Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jan 15, 2015 - The Department of Health (DHH) will host a webinar for providers interested in learning more about the upcoming Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system to go-live on April 1.

LDH is partnering with First Data in implementing its AuthentiCare EVV solution for scheduling, time/attendance tracking, and billing for home and community based services (HCBS). It will allow the provider community to better serve Medicaid participants and ensure that participants receive the services they need.

The webinar will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 15. First Data staff will provide an overview of AuthentiCare's functionality and answer application questions.
