Baton Rouge, Louisiana, -
Baton Rouge – Department of Health Secretary Fred Cerise announced today the hiring of Edward Driesse as Chief Information Officer for DHH.
Driesse joins the Department from Los Angeles, California, where he was employed as the Chief Information Officer for Fortune 500 Company AECOM Technology Corp. He will manage the information technology services for the Department’s various programs, as well as oversee project budgets and supervise employees. As Chief Information Officer, Driesse will also provide the vision to master information technology as a tool for successfully implementing the health care redesign initiative in Louisiana.
Driesse is a native son of Louisiana, holding both a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
