March 12, 2024 Caddo Parish Health Unit temporarily closing March 16-25 for maintenance and repairs
Baton Rouge, Louisiana, - The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), Office of Public Health (OPH) is temporarily relocating services and staff from the Caddo Parish Health Unit (PHU) in Shreveport. The temporary relocation, from March 16-25, will allow for maintenance, inspections and repairs at the facility. The health unit will reopen on Tuesday, March 26 at 8 a.m.

- LSUHS North Campus site (former Chevyland) at 2627 Linwood Avenue, Shreveport:
- Immunizations
- Food Benefits Issuance (FBIs) for reloading of WIC cards
- Tuberculosis clinic medication pick-up
