The swim advisories issued for the water at Martin Beach and two sections of Holly Beach has been lifted. The advisories were issued because high levels of potentially unsafe bacteria were found in the water at this location. However, water samples tested during the past seven days show the water is now acceptable for swimming.
June 27 is National HIV Testing Day, which is dedicated to encouraging people to find out their HIV status and helping those who are positive access treatment and reduce their risk of transmitting the virus to others.
