Programs and Services Amendments Due to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Public Health Emergency
Rescinds and replaces the provisions of the October 21, 2021 Emergency Rule which was promulgated to continue the expiring provisions of the Emergency Rule adopted on June 24, 2020 that amended Title 50 of the Louisiana Administrative Code due to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency.

Flu shots are offered at no cost at these clinics. If you have private insurance, Medicaid or Medicare, please bring you card. Your insurance will be billed. Individuals receiving a flu shot should wear a mask in the facility.

Increase to Louisiana WIC cash value benefits extended through December
Families and pregnant individuals participating in the Louisiana WIC Program will continue to receive extra help with purchasing fruits and vegetables through a Continuing Resolution of the Extending Government Funding and Delivering Emergency Assistance Act.

The Louisiana Department of Health, Bureau of Health Services Financing has submitted Final Rules to the Office of the State Register for publication in the October 20, 2021 edition of the Louisiana Register in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act, R.S. 49:950 et seq.
