Rape Prevention and Education Program
About the Program
The Bureau of Family Health (BFH) is the grantee for Louisiana’s Rape Prevention Education (RPE) funding provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The goal of the program is to decrease sexual violence perpetration and victimization rates while using a tailored approach to account for sexual violence in marginalized communities. Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault (LaFASA) works with six sexual assault centers to implement prevention activities at the local level. The RPE Coordinator and LaFASA work collaboratively on statewide prevention strategies.
