Shreveport-Back to School Check Up

Back to School Check up will be held on Friday July 30, 2010 from noon-3:00pm at the Sci Port Discovery Center located on the Downtown Riverfront.  Free School supplies(limited supplies, first come first serve), health screenings, dental screenings, information booths,door prizes, and a whole lot more will be the focus of the this fun filled event.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Registration is required.  To register online go to www.arklatexhomepage.com.  To register by phone call 318-429-6959 or 1-866-751-6958(Se Habla Espanol) .  Registration deadline date is July 23, 2010.  The Shreveport Region 7 LaCHIP Outreach Team will be on hand to distribute information, assist with applying for, and updating insurance information.
